dallasclayton: asked his followers to contribute something “nice” about someone we care about. I am fortunate to have many wonderful people in my life who would serve as exceptional subjects of a “nice” post. It was a tough call and it took a lot to resist the urge to write a lengthy post about each and every individual dear to me. In the interest of time, space, and not to mention my final grade (I should really be cranking out a paper instead of being on tumblr) I decided to stick to one particular person:
My munchkin Jaime. I decided I would devote this space to someone who often does not receive the recognition he deserves, my 5 year old nephew Jaime. Jaime is a wonderful little fella, musically inclined and aware, a dancer, a dreamer, an athlete, humble, caring, sensitive and most importantly of all, a model citizen. An amazing brother to a 3 yr old, he truly has a thing or two to teach adults. Whenever I think of him I remember the many acts of kindness that we at times forget are possible. From a simple hug, a warm gesture to show he cares, to his willingness to give those less fortunate, like offering to give his “whole dollar” to help defray everyday costs, he is truly an everyday inspiration and reminder of the kindness we should aspire to retain even in our later years in life.

VERY AWESOME WORLD HOLIDAY TUMBLR GIVEAWAY!!!
In the spirit of holiday giving and sharing with everyone who has supported me this year I’m going to be giving away a special holiday prize package. Included in the package: One signed copy of An Awesome Book + one signed copy of An Awesome Book of Thanks! + two posters + a limited edition tote bag, and I’m even going to throw in a one-of-a-kind personal drawing (you could use it as a xmas card, perhaps?).
All you have to do to enter is reblog this post and say something nice about someone you care about. At the end of the week I’ll pick the winner at random and hopefully lots of nice things will have been said about lots of nice people all over the world.
Thanks! - Dallas
